Catch at the Old Fish Market offers a unique, sea-to-plate dining experience drawn from the clear waters of the Dorset coast, serving freshly caught fish and shellfish with an unequivocal local provenance, in a landmark setting amidst the colour and energy of a working quayside.
Upstairs there’s Catch, and below there’s Weyfish, the traditional artisan fishmonger that’s the commercial heart of Weymouth’s fishing community. Arrive at the right time and you’ll see baskets of Portland crabs and lobsters, line-caught sea bass, mackerel and pollark, landed by the local day boats, including its own, Weyfish One and Tarka. Their catch is quickly hauled across the quayside for weighing in. That’s the supply chain, start to finish.
What we did.
Catch is on our doorstep here at In The Bag PR and takes us back to the very heart of our business – food and luxury. When Catch opened we knew we wanted to share its story. The work we do not only revolves around promoting the restaurant and peaking the interest of some of the top food writers and restaurant critics, but to tell the deeper story around community and sustainability.
Look out for Catch in national newspapers, hospitality trades and also on sustainability podcasts and feeds.
From a social media perspective we help keep the social platforms for each of the three businesses associated with Catch flowing. We create and schedule content, working with internal team members to share a behind the scenes look at what’s being produced.
